Gambling Help Online is a 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone service that offers crisis counselling, information and referrals for problem gamblers, their families, and their friends.
Anyone in NSW can talk to a trained counsellor about their own, or someone else's gambling problem.
Gambling Help Online services:
- Qualified and experienced counsellors answer calls and offer guidance to callers who may be in crisis.
- Counsellors help callers who are unsure if they have a gambling problem.
- The Gambling Help Online can help people get face-to-face counselling through referrals to local services, with a range of gambling and financial counselling services across NSW.
- The Helpline also offers planned telephone counselling and email support.
- The Helpline can send callers printed information, including fact sheets on problem gambling, and a self-help booklet.
- The Helpline caters for people from non-English speaking backgrounds via a 24-hour professional telephone interpreter service.
